ABOUT US

Jess

I’m a country girl through and through, born into a harness racing family as the third generation involved in the sport. My love for animals—whether wild or domestic, furry, feathery, or scaly—has always been a big part of who I am.By day, I’m a Career Advisor; by weekend, a horse owner and stablehand. But in every spare moment, you’ll find me behind the lens, capturing the beauty of the world around me. My photography journey began as a child, borrowing my Nanna’s small digital camera to snap photos of our horses, native birds, flowers in the garden, and of course, our ever-patient dogs who would so graciously model for me. Since 2014, I’ve had the privilege of photographing a variety of events and subjects, turning my lifelong passion into a growing career. What started as a hobby has become my growing dream, and I’m excited to continue capturing life’s moments—big and small—for those who want to treasure them forever.

George

Cat dad dragged back into the Harness Racing scene. It must run in the family, as my introduction to Harness Racing was through my Mother who was the first female trainer in WA. Now I'm currently an owner of a few race horses and can't get enough of the industry.

I have a growing passion in capturing wicked action shots, but a keen interest in developing my drone photography skills. Having been introduced to photography by my Fiancé Jess, I'm currently her volunteer trainee learning the ropes.

In my spare time I enjoy drone flying, UHF CB and Amateur Radio Communications, and busting out the low notes on my Tuba as part of The Challenge Brass Band.

I enjoy greeting and meeting so many people at trot meets, watching and capturing my horses around the track, and most of all I love being a go to support and second shooter for my Fiancé Jess.
